Roland University 2010 Schedule Announced

Roland DGA

Roland DGA Corporation has announced the 2010 Roland University workshop schedule featuring the company’s most popular classes as well as new additions to the lineup.

“Our goal at Roland University is to help customers realize the full benefits of their Roland equipment while they develop new skills to take their businesses to the next level,” said Rick Scrimger, vice president and general manager of Roland. “This year, we have brought back our most popular classes and introduced new workshops including online options. Each is designed to provide valuable market insights and hands-on instruction.”

Offered in Irvine, California, online, and in various cities across the nation, Roland University workshops provide attendees in-depth knowledge of Roland equipment, software and supplies. In addition, they teach new workflows and applications to help professionals increase their profits and expand their businesses.

Inkjet Workshops
New! - Digital Printing Boot Camp
For more than 15 years, Roland University Boot Camp instructor David Goetter has trained businesses on the fundamentals of large-format digital printing – from production and finishing techniques to sales, pricing and service strategies. His experience has been leveraged by thousands of businesses and top industry organizations including DPI and SGIA. Now Roland inkjet owners can work directly with David in this action-packed three-day course. During the workshop, participants will receive detailed instruction on the top 10 sign industry applications and will complete a professional sample book of projects based on each one. Students will graduate with new skills to help expand their product lines and build stronger, more profitable digital printing businesses.

Born To Wrap Vehicle Graphics Workshop
Now in its fourth year, the Born to Wrap workshop teaches professionals everything they need to know to profit from the growing vehicle graphics market. Working side by side with the experts at Digital EFX Wraps, students will wrap an entire vehicle from bumper to bumper, learning first hand how to take the job from the estimation stage to finished wrap. The class includes an overview of media and lamination options and hands-on instruction in the proper way to apply digitally printed graphics.
