Xerox and the Photo Market: It Just Clicks; Customer Successes Take Center Stage at PMA 2010

Xerox

The photo publishing market remains a lucrative and expanding space for print service providers, with several success stories serving as a backdrop for Xerox Corporation’s presence at PMA 2010.

This year marks the fourth consecutive year Xerox will bring digital print technology, software and business development tools - all designed to drive production of photo books, calendars, trading cards and other photo publishing products - to the photo industry’s largest annual tradeshow. A joint booth presence with Fujifilm enables both imaging giants to leverage their expertise to serve customers from professional photo labs to traditional print providers.

“Xerox’s technology and software create a significant revenue opportunity for photo businesses and print providers, allowing them to bring photos to life as photo books, calendars and greeting cards,” said Philippe Laude, vice president of photo and packaging, Xerox Corporation.

To help print providers succeed in the photo publishing market, Xerox will showcase photo applications and software, as well as the DIMA Innovation award-winning Xerox 700 Digital Color Press. The 70 page-per-minute digital system was recognized for a new finishing option that produces booklets in-line, and will be on display in Xerox booth no. 3121 along with the Xerox Phaser 7760. The Xerox DocuColor 260 system will be located in the Fujifilm booth.
