Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. is pleased to announce that its employees have once again reached significant safety milestones.

As of Monday, May 4, 2009, Mohawk’s New York operations have achieved one million safe work hours, and have gone just over a full year without a lost time injury. This means that employees in Mohawk’s Cohoes Paper Mill and offices, Specialty Converting Center, Waterford Paper Mill, and Albany Distribution Center have not had any injuries that resulted in days away from work since April 2008.

“We are extremely proud that company-wide our diligent efforts toward working safely and maintaining a safe working environment are yielding such positive results.
