Mohawk Makes Private Watermarked Letterhead More Accessible
Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. has lowered its minimums for private watermarked letterhead orders from 5,000 lbs. to only 2,000 lbs. on a variety of its Strathmore Writing and Strathmore Script papers.
Reducing the minimum order to less than half makes private watermarked letterhead more accessible to businesses of all sizes. For instance, if 2,000 lbs. is broken down to 95,000 letterheads, 42,000 second sheets, and 40,000 envelopes, that would approximate a year’s supply of letterhead for a mid-sized company with 350 employees who use five sheets of letterhead, and mail two letters per week.
A private watermark, once the domain of big business and large law firms, is a unique and embedded design in the paper that is visible when the paper is held up to the light. A watermark provides security and authenticity; it cannot be removed, altered or duplicated. Watermarks may be used for all identity materials: letterheads, envelopes, second sheets and other marketing materials. “This is great news for businesses that want to convey an authoritative corporate image. Watermarked stationery is also a way for businesses to help protect themselves from fraudulent representation,” says Laura Shore, Senior Vice President, Communications, Mohawk Fine Paper.
“The distinctiveness of having an identity with a watermarked company logo makes it that much more possible for businesses’ targeted direct mail and high-impact communications to get noticed in a time when business messages need to stand out. By lowering minimum orders, Mohawk is making the prestige of a private watermark more accessible for such businesses as smaller architecture, specialty retailers, and consulting firms, ” continues Shore.
The following Mohawk 24 lb. writing papers are now available for private watermarks with a 2,000 lb. minimum order:
