Ennis Tag & Label in Wolfe City, TX recently installed a new UV inkjet printing system in May 2007. The 6 head custom design allows for a printing width of up to 14 ¼" and includes its own prepress station for designing barcodes and importing variable imaging files. This has allowed Ennis to expand our variable imprint capabilities and strengthen our ION Deposition Printing and crash imprint numbering system. This is the first machine in the Ennis line that can print UV ink.

Chuck Hester, General Manager of the Wolfe City facility says the system “will literally more than double our throughput on variable imaging work.” Future expansions will include color options and metallic inks.
